The Pearl High School Heritage Classes Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is pleased to continue its tradition of providing scholarship grants to deserving graduating high school seniors who are descendants of Pearl High School alumni.

The J.A. Galloway Scholarship is available to students who plan to pursue further education beyond high school, whether it be in vocational, technical, or four-year college programs.

Additionally, we proudly offer the Edward Boyd Scholarship, which is specifically for students who intend to major in Engineering or Computer Science and will attend a four-to five-year college or university. The student must graduate from a High School in Nashville,TN (Davidson County) .

The awarded scholarship is $2000.00 renewable for up to five years as long as the student maintains a 2.5 GPA and major in Engineering or Computer Science. Mr. Edward Boyd will submit the final decision for the recipient of this scholarship. The scholarship is funded by Edward Boyd, a former Pearl High School graduate from the Class of 1959, who has retired from the field of engineering and space exploration.

​                             Pearl High School Heritage Classes Foundation, Inc.

    During 2019, the foundation awarded scholarships totaling $19,000.00. Our goal for 2023 is to award scholarships in the amount of $34,000.00. In order to achieve this goal, we are requesting all active Pearl High School classes to consider donating to our organization.
   
    We are most  grateful to the following classes for their donations:
       $885.00 from the class of 1949 for our 2021 fundraising event.
       $1000.00 from the class of 1959 for our 2019 and 2020 fundraising event.
       $500.00 from the class of 1961 for our 2019 and 2021 fundraising event.
       $1,402.36, received June,15, 2020 from the class of 1947. We are grateful to
       Yvonne Gray and Ola Hudson for their efforts in securing this donation.
       $1000.00 from the class of 1970, 2022 donation.
       $1000.00 from the class of 1971, 2022 donation.
